Aaron Moncur is an engineer, entrepreneur, and founder of Pipeline Design & Engineering, where he leads custom automation and advanced manufacturing solutions for the medical device industry. With degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Bioengineering, he founded The Wave, an online platform connecting engineers through resources, tools, and the Being An Engineer podcast, where engineers share real experiences from their careers. Aaron also founded CAD Club, teaching middle and high school students engineering fundamentals and professional skills.

Brad Hirayama

Brad Hirayama is a MedTech innovator with a passion for turning ideas into impactful solutions. With over eight years of experience bridging the gap between R&D and manufacturing, he has helped bring cutting-edge medical devices to market by developing scalable, first-time-right processes. His expertise spans product development, process validation, and manufacturing optimization, making him a trusted leader in the medical device industry.

Brad has found a passion fostering growth both professionally and personally through storytelling and leadership. He embodies PMG’s key mission of inspiring the next generation of engineers through thought-provoking and insightful media.

Craig Ovans
Lead Designer

Craig Ovans is the founder of Ovans Design, LLC, based in the East Valley of Phoenix, Arizona. After 16 years at product design and engineering firms, he launched his own practice in 2017 to provide industrial design services across medical devices, consumer electronics, military/tactical equipment, aviation, e-mobility, and off-road vehicles.

Craig specializes in creating manufacturable CAD models from concept through production, with expertise in rapid prototyping, mechanical design, and photo-realistic rendering. His process focuses on quick iteration, turning ideas into validated CAD assemblies, renderings, and prototypes.

Beyond product design, he handles graphic design for logos, packaging, and technical illustrations.

He works with inventors, startups, small businesses, large corporations, and design firms needing contract support.
